RUTH L. SEROUSSI

Ruth Seroussi joined Spiro Moss as Of Counsel in 2008.  She has practiced law in Los Angeles for 13 years, working as in-house counsel for a national non-profit corporation, a civil rights attorney for the Fair Housing Institute, and employment defense counsel at Buchalter Nemer, a Los Angeles-based, regional law firm.  Ms. Seroussi’s practice has included the mortgage lending, retail, apparel, manufacturing, hospitality, entertainment and real estate industries.  Her areas of expertise include labor and employment, housing discrimination, landlord tenant, and illegal lending practices.  She is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including appellate practice, and has worked on a large number of wage and hour, and several consumer and lending class actions.  Ms. Seroussi has represented clients in state and federal court, before administrative agencies, and in the arbitral forum.

Ms. Seroussi received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1992 and her law degree from UCLA School of Law in 1995.
